    Salisbury, N.C. campgrounds

There are two big camprounds in Mocksville NC. One is Lake Myers and the used to be thousand trails but I am not sure if that is still the name. Mocksville is not far from Salisbury and you should also check in Concord and Huntersville. Both of those are around 30 mins drive from Salisbury as well.

Anybody have an idea what these spots are on my roof?

I will try the tilex. I figured it was sap or mold and now I know. I really appreciate all the replies.

Anybody have an idea what these spots are on my roof?

I use the softest brush they had at CW and I only do it twice a year (beginning and end of the season). I started noticing them when I washed it the first time so I don't think so. Its parked under trees so I thought it may be sap but it will not wash off so I'm stumped.

Anybody have an idea what these spots are on my roof?

For the past few years I have noticed little black dots the size of the head of a pencil eraser. They will not wash off and I am persistent keeping the roof treated and washed with dicor cleaners made for the rubber roof .

I want to buy a golf cart - recommendations

I have played around with these for years. My personal experience is that club car is the way to go. EZ go has a steel frame and are prone to rust. I have seen more than one break in half at the floorboard area. Club car has an aluminum frame and doesn't rust. If you want proof just look at...

    Led lights

Has any one tried to run the led lights off of the existing light outside by the door? I have a friend that does custom leds in homes and cars and this is where we were thinking of tying in. Should be 12 volt and already on a switch. If I go in from the bottom of the light it should eliminate...

Miles per gallon with your Chevy/GMC Duramax 6.6.

It was noticeable. I removed it one trip to see and I did notice the difference in power. It could have been other variables (ie. Weather) but the filter is what I blame.

Miles per gallon with your Chevy/GMC Duramax 6.6.

I have an 06 cc and pulling about the same weight I get around 9 mpg at 70mph and if I slow down to around 60-65 I can get around 11. Mine is stock except for a k&n filter and has 32k on it.

ATF: Bighorn - Disappointed Heartland will not cover delamination past the 1 year warantee

Same thing just happened to me. Realized the tube was behind the vent while washing one day. No problems for a while but now it has some delamination. Lesson learned but it was very frustrating.

Water leak while slides are in.

I just had the same issue on my big country loft. The rear slide trim was soaked when we got to the beach yesterday. Before leaving everything was shut and the trim was in the middle of the room. Good luck finding the source. I think mine came from a slide rubber that may not have been sealed...

    Replacing Gear Reduction box

thanks for the confidence boost! I am assuming when I remove the gear box the landing gear stays in place? When you replaced yours did you use the aluminum case one or did they send the plastic one?

    Replacing Gear Reduction box

I am sure this has been done by many on here but here goes. This weekend I pulled out to take a quick trip to our local campground. When I hooked up and lifted the gear there was no problems but when I got to the campground and tried to set up, I heard some weird racket coming from the gear...

    Another tire/weight question

I agree completely. The only reason I used the dry weight is I haven't made it to scales yet but I wanted to make sure I understood what to do with those weights. I don't believe I will get as heavy as yours though.. We only use the water in the parks so we never carry water or have...

    Another tire/weight question

Ok, I am a long time creeper on the forum. I have used the site many times to educate myself and recently I have used it to become confused about tires. Right now I have a 3550 tsl with g rated china bombs. They are not showing any signs of wear or damage but the rig was a 09 left over so...

Rear JT Stabilizers on 2011 BC 3250 Problem

I would welcome any input on this. I have the jt's front and back. The back are mounted to the frame because I felt the stabilizers would handle the left to right motion. My daughter is 5 and when she goes in to the loft, the rest of the camper feels like a boat on the ocean. The front has...
