2009 chevy DRW drive shaft grease zerk's ?????

Either my old eye's are deceiving me or this truck doesn't have grease zerk's on the u-joint's of the drive shaft ! Anyone else run into this situation ?

My 2003 Ram 1500 was the same way. When I asked the parts guy at Napa, he said they are maintenance free... But if it ever failed, you could buy a replacement either with or without a zerk fitting. The same was true on the ball joints. Sold it about 4 months ago and never needed to replace, so I guess they are pretty good!

My 2003 Duramax is the same way. Other than a couple of zerks in the front end there is nothing else to grease.I'm sure that your newer 2009 will be the same.

Some have a jerk fitting at the center support. Have not looked at my new one yet. On the 2 piece shafts....you should have the slip yoke lubed to prevent them from binding when you stop. You will know when it is time. When you stop hard or fast they will bind and you will feel it thump when you let off the brakes. There is a special lube for this.
