Would anybody know if the LED lights under the awning are functional on the 2014 coaches while the awning is in the stored position?

Maybe not a direct answer to your question but at the Heartland Factory Saturday, there was a BH with the LED lights under the awning. It was retracted and the lights were on. Looked good too!

Yes they do

They do work with awning retracted, throws the light down the side. Looks good.
As you read about after market installs, some folks are installing the light strip about an inch below rolled up awning.....throws the light out further than factory setup.

When I was at the factory last week - I was shown the LED lights on the Cyclone that were actually permanently install on the Awning - no below. In that case they would not do any good when the Awning is retracted as they would be covered. I like the lights that mount below the Awning better.
