Best Cell Booster?

Has anyone had success with a cell signal booster? If so, which do you recommend?

I used a Wilson Sleek 4G cradle, worked fairly well (adding 1-2 bars of signal most of the time) but gets very hot, and thus your phone or hotspot in it will, too. There are newer models of this from Wilson, now called WeBoost.

I started with a Wilson 3G booster which worked very well. Later I moved up to a Wilson 4G in the RV and put the 3G in the truck.

The 4G got very hot and it burned out and stopped working. The next one stopped providing an signal improvement and was replaced with a WeBoost model, which also gets very hot.

I think something's wrong with their 4G design.
