brake shoe adjustment

Hi All ! I'm getting ready to stick a brake shoe adjuster into the little slot and adjust the brake shoe's ! Do I push down on the tool or push up on the tool ????

I think one is up and the other is down, just go a few notches an see if the wheel starts to drag, then go till the wheel won't turn and back it off till the wheel just drags a little.

Just remember, down and out. Pulling down on the tool spreads the adjuster. Both sides are the same.

I remember mine by UP TIGHT(rotate the star up). Have fun-be careful. Make sure you are fully chocked on other wheels
