I have the Big Country 3560SS and inside the cargo bay there is a cable outlet. According to the diagram, it picks up the signal from the living room TV. I have connected a TV to it and it does pick up the antenna feeds, however, I would like to watch DirecTV outside. Is there a way to pick up the DirecTV signal instead?

That wire is separate from the satellite coax lines. If your satellite receiver has a coax output, you may be able to backfeed that output into the antenna/cable connection by the TV and send the satellite signal to all TV locations. Otherwise, you may do best to get a wireless transmitter/receiver to send signal to the basement. The more expensive units do Hi Def.
