Hi all,

Well we came to the Medina Lake Thousand Trails Park today to just kick back and relax.... like I don't do that anyway...on arriving and after setting up in site R16, we took a ride around the park. Just across the road is a Big Country in R12, and a Sundance is in R43 or 44,,,and down in B section, B1 is a Bighorn and in B5 is a new Big Country. And we have not even driven through the whole park yet.

Met the folks across the road for a minute. Will try to make more contacts tomorrow.

Had 2 Big Horns, 1 Big Country, and 1 Sundance come into our park (Green Valley RV Resort) this winter and none of them had a clue about the Heartland forum. It is such a treasure.

Hey Jim Too, last time we stayed at TT Medina Lake there were 17 deer that were eating in our campsite. DW even fed some bread to several of them. They would eat right out of her hand. Neat place to stay.

Yep,,, they are still here, way to many for good health for the deer. They come right up to you if you have something for them to eat. Corn is like a candy for them. Even saw a buck that still had his antlers today... a little late shedding.

Hello Jim. Ruth and I stay primarily in TT somewhere. As fulltimers it saves us a bundle of money. We are currently at TT Colorado River Preserve at Columbus, TX. Heartland is well represented all over in TT now. A whole lot better than 4 years ago when we bought our Grand Canyon.
There is a big herd of deer here at Colorado River also, but not quite as tame as those at Medina Lake. We only stayed there once and didn't really care for its location and the trees (two satellite dishes).

We will be coming to Colorado River in mid April,, on the way to the Heartland Rallyin Spring, TX...will stay for a couple of days and then go on over to Spring or the Woodlands for a really great time.
