Help! Front A/C just quit -- no idea why!

Front (Bedroom) A/C just quit. Is only a month and a half old (replaced one that lost its cooling liquid) and just came back home from work and its not working at all.

1) No breakers are flipped, although I flipped them all back and forth, and cut the main power and turned it back on. Nothing.

2) Thermostat is on, and I even replaced it with an exact model -- nothing.

3) Normally, you get a click when the thermostat reaches temperature and sends the signal to the A/C. No click.

4) Swapped 20amp fuses and still nothing.

Any ideas? I'm out! Help!

Maybe you are only running on one leg of the power.
Jim, not sure what that means. There's power to the thermostat, power to everything else in the rig. What would be the cure for changing that? I'm on 50amp and have been for quite a while. Nothing is tripped and I've flipped the 50amp breaker on and off. What else is there.

Also, I took the cover off the J-box inside the A/C. There's a main blue wire and a main black wire (thick) right in the middle. The black one looks like it might have overheated...burned through some of the plastic coating? Could that be the culprit? If so, do you think I blew that box?

Ugh!
