In a 2015 Newport.. how thick is the Basement ceiling?

I am wondering how thick the ceiling is in the basement storage in our 2015 365 Newport.. What I would like to do, if possible, mount 2 fishing racks to hold about 4-6 poles..If it will take about a 1 in screws without any issues.. and would it be secure enough to go over the road?

Basically the floors in the upper bedroom areas(ceilings in the basement) are about three inches thick. They are a laminated build, and the basic components are thin luan ply and foam blocks. Might be tough to actually find an aluminum stud in there, otherwise yours fasteners wont bite into much. Several of the items in my rig from the factory were screwed into the ceiling in the basement...and they are mostly tearing loose on their own.

use a electronic stud finder to find the aluminum studs

Sheet metal screws will hold up your racks. I have several items mounted that way
