Inside Door latch pin is falling out

The latch/ lock on the interior side of the camper door as a silver metal pin that holds it together and ours keeps falling out. Is there a replacement screw or simple part for this i can replace with?

Have you thought of an elastomeric adhesive/sealant, like RVers Goop on the pin ends?

If it is the hinge pin placed in the vice jaws between two files at the top of the pin where it is located and hit one file on the top that will make you a knurl.

take the pin, place one end of it on a piece of steel, and with a small hammer, tap the very end of it to flatten it slightly... then reassemble it all with the peened end of the pin in the UP position.... and it cant fall out.
