I was reading Delaware traffic laws (OK, so I'm home sick & bored). I found where the maximum speed allowed while towing a trailer in Delaware is 55 MPH. Delaware Route 1 has a 65 MPH speed limit and 18 wheelers often blow by me when I'm in my car doing 70 MPH. In speaking with others and reading other state laws thru hot links etc. I see some other states have these same un-enforced laws. I guess they are on the books for selective enforcement. The law is simple and states "while towing", this means semi-trucks, campers anything that is towed. Are there any ex or current police officers on the forum that could comment. I just thought it would be interesting to find out "The rest of the story"
