Yeah. Thought of that. Kind of like poking a bee hive with a stick! I’ve followed several threads about the Norcold and have had a thermostat replaced and made a few self improvements.
Tell us how it works when the temp goes over 100.
Sorry you have to endure that kind of heat. As anytimers we try to avoid such! I can say the first week of July we had well above normal temps for PA, 90’s & heat indexes over 100. I have 50A at home so it’s plugged in 24/7 and each time I checked the interior temperature was always in the 30s. That was on electric, set at 6, with few door openings to mix hot & cold air.
I’m happy to hear your Norcold is working well...please send a scoop of Rocky Road. We have not had any temperatures where our 2118 has not performed well. But I am also sympathetic to those who have not been as fortunate.
Rocky Road is not one of my favorites but I’ll remember that the next time I see that on the grocer’s freezer!!!Yes, I too sympathize with anyone that experiencing issues. Never fun
