New TQ 261 on an extended trip

Hi we just purchased our 2nd Heartland Toy hauler. First was a 2010 Roadwarrior loved it. Was a little large for us. So into our current
trip we purchased a 2013 TQ261. We are currently in St. Augustine Fla. We will be moving south and then west back home in the future.
Love the unit but its not a 5th wheel.

We just recently bought the same model from Jacksonville and brought it down to the Tampa area (our home).... we take our first trip with it next weekend to GA to hopefully see the leaves in change. It is our first toy hauler and a lot larger than our Apex 25 ft... it pulled very nicely so we are excited about our first outing.... keep us posting on your experiences with it.... the one thing we did notice while camping in the back yard is that there is no a/c vent in the main bedroom and on a very hot day out in middle of sun it was pretty warm inside... to get it cool we had to close all the blinds and keep doors closed for hours... our Apex was like a freezer inside.. of course was smaller but also had mirror coated window ... so I think that seems to have made a huge difference so may be something to do in the future for us since we are in Fl.

Hi ours has a AC vent in front of the closet doors in the bedroom.

cheska.. can you take a pic of the location of your vent... perhaps that will help when I talk to the dealer.
