Norcold module reset with a magnet

My Norcold refrigerator showed the Li Op code .
I tried to reset with a magnet three times with no luck.
This happens once before and it did reset, I guess they maybe like a fuse and get weak after popping off a couple times.
Not sure what this module is called - or how much it costs?
Wondered if there is a recall on these from the manufacture ?
I would think maybe they would be making the new ones a bit heavier .
Anyone have any info on this problem?
Thanks
Dan

You might try a stronger magnet. If you can get conditions very quiet, you might be able to hear the magnetic reed switch click as it is activated by the magnet. The reed switches are very fragile, in a glass tube, but very cheap if you want to attempt to replace it. I am assuming they are using the older reed switch and not the more expensive hall effect semiconductor switch (which you can't hear activate, but is mechanically rugged compared to the reed switch).

I could hear it reset, then turn the refrigerator on and it pops again.
Tried this three times and the same result.
Contacted Norcold but no response
Will get one ordered from my dealer
Thanks
Dan
