Pin box extender

I have a 2011 Greystone 32re, Can i use a pin box extender on this instead of a slider hitch?

Its called a sidewinder if I'm not mistaking, I had one on a previous SOB, it worked good.

I've never had to slide it yet . . . but it is there if I need it.
