Pin box receiver mount for bicycles

Anyone out there welded a trailer hitch receiver to your pin box to use a hitch mounted bicycle rack to carry your bikes? I have a 2010 3670 and I am thinking about this configuration to carry my bikes. Any turning issues-I have a 8 foot bed.

Many have done this with great results. Terry H comes to mind. As does Herbiesrig.

I as well as many others have done that.
Mine is bolted on rather than welded.
I have a short bed and have no clearance problems when turning.

This is the second version and is bolted to an Trail Air pin box, first one was welded to the orignal Lippert pin box. This one has been carrying the bikes since just after the Goshen rally last year (9-10 K miles) and is working great.
