When I was looking for a Sailun tire for my BH 3685 I looked at Sailun tires only to find 2 tires with the same name and very similar specs except for the load rating. They were

Tire Size:
235/85R-16

  • S637 Regional Trailer
  • Tire Size: ST235/85R-16
  • Part Number: 5540992
  • Service Description: 129 L
  • Sidewall: TL
  • Load Range: G (14 Ply)

and

  • S637 Regional Trailer
  • Part Number: 8244393
  • Service Description: 126 L
  • Sidewall:
  • Load Range: G (14 Ply)

Sailun or Simple Tire has since changed the ID of the higher load rated tire (129 L, Part #5540992) to a Sailun S811 to remove the confusion I assume, or possibly the Simpletire website was coded incorrectly.

It is now
[h=3]Sailun: S811[/h]
  • Tire Size: ST235/85R-16
  • Part Number: 5540992
  • Service Description: 129 L
  • Sidewall: TL
  • Load Range: G (14 Ply)

Watch your OD. The Sailuns are larger than the Blowmaxes, whereas the G614's are slightly smaller. On my Cyclone this is an issue as the clearances between tires are close already.

I am looking to replace the towmax on my cyclone and the tire od between the towmax and sailun is identical with it being 31.7. Data from the respective manufacturers web site.

I would suggest setting the two tires side by side for comparison. I replaced my tires with Sailuns last year and setting the two side by side the Sailuns were an inch to an inch and a half taller. I do like the Sailuns, to me they are a vast improvement over what I had on the trailer before.
