Search function

I've found that more often than not, recently when I search for a particular phrase or subject, I get "Oops! We ran into some problems. A server error occurred. Please try again later."
I'm pretty sure that searches have worked in the past. Is this a known issue? Or am I doing something wrong? I'd search for an answer but...well...I can't
