Also found a GREAT tripod. Check out tv4rv.com. I saw one of these at our last park and will be ordering one when we get somewhere we'll be stay still for a couple weeks. It's a good price and is FAR more stable than the Winegard tripod that you get at Camping World.
This is the regular outdoor TV antenna roofmount tripod I found at the local Radio Shack store in Eugene, Oregon about 5 years ago. Add a short pipe stub down the center of the tripod to mount the dish on and you are ready to go. I use a 5 gallon pail of water and bungee cords to tie it down via the center braces (some metal camping tent spikes through the mounting holes in the feet if it is REALLY windy), and construction door levelling wooden wedges ($2 a pack) to level the tripod.
