Showing how they build them

I just thought that I would show you all how they supported my sink. The sink was starting to get a little loose, so I wanted to tighten the under counter rail support bolts. What I found has surprised the heck out of me. They have the sink supported with a piece of WOOD. No kidding . See the picture. Quality 1 from Heartland

The wood support actually seems like it could be a good idea. The sink is not going to fall down.
You may need to add a shim to tighten it up.

Peace

If you look in your sticks and bricks house, that is the same way they support an undermount sink in Granite and Corian. Common practice. How else would expect them to do it??
