Slide room-need support jacks?

We haven't taken our first trip yet, we are learning about how everything works and getting ready to go in 7 days. We have one slide that houses the booth and table. Do we need to get support jacks for when the slide is out?

There are some folks who use supports on their slide-outs but you do not need to. The slide out rooms are designed to be used without supports. There is a possibility that you could even damage the slide out if the rig were to settle with the slide out support in place.

Moved on to the next thing...
Our previous trailer, a 2013 Heartland Trail Runner, had basically the same slide out that is in your North Trail.

And we needed the slide supports to keep the trailer from bouncing and tipping when three or four people were in the dinette.

That slide out is much deeper (ie.- sticks out twice as far) than what most of the other Heartland products come with (our new Prowler included), which is why you get the "don't need 'em" comments.

Get them . . . you'll be glad you did!

Heck . . . if you were here in Colorado I'd give you my set as we don't need them with our new trailer.

First shot without supports, last three with supports!
