I was here for a Search and Rescue class Saturday when all this went down! It touched down 200 yards from our class. Hardly any structual damage but the woods, trails, and campground was devistated. I almost took our brand new Greystone down but changed my mind at the last moment and decided to drive down both days. We actually got our very first official Search and Rescue mission that day. There were 5 fishermen at the park and they were unaccounted for, After wading through 3/4 of a mile of trees all were found safe and sound. NO injuries in the Park that day because the Ranger was on top of it before it hit, got everyone to safe locations but over 100 acres of old growth trees are gone! The Park is closed until further notice.
