Travel from Monument Valley to Zion

Wondering if anyone out there has done this trip. I am concerned with AZ Hwy 89 Alt near Kanab and the grade and curves. Im pulling a 14,000lb Bighorn with a 2004 F350 6.0 Powerstroke. Just don't want to die!!LOL

It's a truck route according to the truckers atlas. That's all I'd need!

The problem is that there is a restricted tunnel at the east entrance to Zion. The restrictions are for both height and total length of the truck and trailer.

Be aware that you cannot travel to Zion Nat’l Park off of 89 to 9 at Mt. Carmel Junction because of a tunnel restriction. You will need to hit 389 off of 89 at Fredonia and then 9 at Hurricane, UT, to the park.

Thanks!!I have a western grade book but just ordered the atlas as well. With my truck and size trailer I always stress on knowing the grades I am going to be driving!
