Tv mounting in bedroom

We bought a 2020 320bh used last year. We are wanting to mount the a small tv in the front bedroom. However there is no “tv backer” sticker nor any other evidence of a tv previously installed. How do we know where to put the mount? We know about finding studs and utilizing that but we not sure if thick they are. Any recommendations would be helpful.

If you can locate two studs on the wall, use a board to span them and mount the TV to that.

Thank you. That was one of the options we were looking into. And had decided to go with bc there is obviously no backer board on that wall.
