TV raiser

my connections came loose that raise tv .I have a solid red and a solid black in my left hand and a black wire and a black an d red wire in my right hand . can someone look at their tv cavity and tell me what goes to what. thank you , larry Stillneed a kind soul to look inside their rear entertainment tv cavity to see where wiresconnect please

Hi Larry,

The motor that raises and lowers the TV is probably 12V DC. It's designed to run in both directions depending on which way you press the rocker switch. I don't know which goes to what, but if you get it wired backwards, it'll just run the wrong way when you press the rocker switch. Pressing up will make it go down and pressing down will make it go up.

So if it's the wiring connection between the switch and motor, if you get it wrong on the first try, just reverse the connections to correct it.

As a guess, I'd connect the two black wires together and connect the red to the red/black.
