Washed it, rinsed off the awning (too tired after washing to scrub the awning even though it needed it), and finished packing for the move to the Coastal Bend tomorrow morning!
Had my epiphany today: I need to go to the Coast so I can stop preparing to go to the Coast!

I washed my rig then put it back into storage today.
Replaced the skylights yesterday and found some interesting things. All three of the skylights where cracked and starting to leak. When I pulled the skylight over the shower there was a bump in the roof that was about 1/4" higher then the corners. The skylight had been cranked down tight at the corners so it would conform to this bump and one of these corners had cracked out. What I found was a scrappy piece of 2x4 had been used to frame out the skylight box that varied in thickness from 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 over its length.
So I removed it and installed a new board. You can see the bow in the roof in the picture.
On the other two skylights the screws were tightened so much it had left deep indentations in the plastic. Also for what ever reason all of the existing holes in the skylight flange were not used and the screws were installed through the plastic. These cracked out as well.
When I installed the new new skylights I cut and drilled aluminum strips to help distribute the load of each screw more evenly across the skylight flange. Heartland Tech Support seemed to think this was a pretty good idea so guess I'll see over time how it works out.
Just a little caulking around the edges and screws and I'm done.

Replaced the crappy single speed exhaust fan in the head with a new MaxxFan, 10 speed reversible, remote controlled unit so the boss lady can use the fan without having to stand on the toilet to open the lid and turn the fan on. Overall the change out was not that difficult, cleaning the old caulking from around the hole and try to square the new unit in the hole I found difficult for one person.
Also followed the instructions as supplied for installing the Garnish Trim Ring on the inside and I would recommend adding an additional inch to the inside measurement that way the trim will fit further up into the fan housing and block a little more light coming through.
Why Heartland would put such a cheap fan in the bathroom to begin with is crazy, and one that height challenged (aka SHORRRRRRT) people can't use without a ladder is really DUMB

Almost out of Nelly Muffins. Really found a way I like to eat them - cinnamon, sugar, and Pure vanilla mix. Tastes like I'm eating French toast. When I run out, I'm gonna cry cause that was an super easy breakfast for me.

Well as Jo said I washed the rig from top to bottom plus the poor truck that had been neglected for far too long. Will take it to get detailed before leaving for goshen but a wash will do for now...lol.

Installed new Curt hitch (replaced older Reese 15K) and added the 5th Wheel Latch Kit. Old hitch was wearing out and getting sloppy.
When I went to the 5th Wheel Latch Kit web site, there was a note that said that it could NOT be used with 5th Airborne pinbox. I could not understand why, so I placed a call to Butch and asked why it would not work. He stated that because they have the "swivel" type pinbox. I told him that my pinbox was just like a standard pinbox and did not swivel at all. He was not aware of that and would look into it. I ordered and installed the kit and it will work just fine.
SO, if anyone has the standard 5th Airborne and is interested, it DOES work. This is a really simple and effective kit and is about 1/3 the cost and a fraction of the weight of the Blue Ok Bedsaver I have installed on my older Reese 15K hitch.
Get to try it out this weekend on our first outing of the year to a local campground with grand kids for a week (spring break). Using this as our "shakedown" trip for the season. REALLY looking forward to getting it out on the road. Will be ready for the Gulf Shores, AL rally next month also!!!!

I bet he meant the 5th Airborne Sidewinder? It does pivot.

If, by latch kit, you mean that sliding bar that attaches to the hitch plate, I installed one a while back on my Reese 16K hitch. I also have the standard 5th Airborne pinbox. Works just fine. I didn't want the Bedsaver because I frequently remove the hitch to use the truck bed for other purposes.

Will do, but right off the bat I can give the advantages.
Over the bowl that came with the Cyclone:
Taller, 18"
Elongated seat
Wood seat
Push down for water, push further for flush, more intuitive for instead of the up or down
Supposedly superior flushing action
And the number 1 (or 2
) reason is that I will not have to rebuild the existing unit.
