This is not a case of insufficient or poor winterizing. No water has been on the fridge in 4 years. It is a case of 4 years of condensation leaking and dripping from the hole in the back of the freezer compartment into the freezer section of the fridge for the ice dispenser water line.
We will never have another RV with a residential refrigerator with a water dispenser/ ice maker option. We are not full timer's and being from the midwest we were never confident that these thing's could be winterized effectively and were reliable, therefore we shutoff the water line under the...
So disappointed but not surprised to hear that your pantry shelving collapsed. Every kitchen drawer bottom and pantry shelf collapsed in our Landmark with in the first 2 month's of ownership. They were not designed to carry anything heavy than paper plates, plastic cutlery and empty plastic...
My ladder came loose almost the moment we drove off the dealers lot. I replaced all the ladder mounting brackets with the ones in the link https://factoryrvsurplus.com/product/ld-4600-die-cast-foot-pad/
This bracket is larger and stronger and hold's much tighter with much less flexing which is...
Coming into Ashville on I26 I had 2 bone head car drives slam on their brakes to allow a merge challenged moron to join the traffic flow. The cars moving down the I26 at 60 mile per hour slowed suddenly to almost a total stop because the merging driver got panicked and also came to a stop at the...
We have a standard poodle that does the same thing (never lays down even after 4 or 5 hours). She is incredibly motion oriented. She follows all movement be it a squirrel, bird, cow, armadillo or car and trucks on the highway. The closer the moving object is to her the more she lunges and tries...
Kudos to Ron at Anderson. He mailed me a valve cartridge by USPS and arrived 3 days later to the campground we are staying at no charge to us at all. Replaced it in about 15min's reading the instructions provided with the kit.
Dan just FYI Ron recommended I not view the online video for...
Wonderful day of global warming in the mid-west. Mid-70's and not a cloud in the ski. Actually got a little bit of a sun tan without my shirt on while sanding and painting about 80 board ft of custom milled baseboard on my deck this afternoon:cool:
I run my H-rated tires at 105PSI and carry the Dewalt D55140 http://www.dewalt.com/tools/compressors-hand-carry---electric-d55140.aspx on a small drawer slide tray above the battery box that I built. The compressor works very well and is quite, small and light weight.
Re: ATF: Landmark - Bedroom Slide Separation
X2 This happened on our unit on the drive home from the dealer. 3 screw heads had popped off due to over torquing. Dealer authorized me to simply drill new pilot holes and install new stainless screws and recaulk.
First of WAY TOO MANY significant...
This was also our exact feeling as well when comparing the DRV to the HL Landmark. our old unit was 101" and we don't find our Landmark any narrower at all as a result of deeper slideouts.
Travelling southbound on US71 between Cincy and Louisville yesterday we hit a bump/heave in the right hand lane at about 62mph. It was so violent it lifted us from out seats for a moment.
Once stopped for the night at the campground while setting the trailer up I heard my wife make that dreaded...
Wow I wish the $600 coupon was available last year at this time when we took delivery of our LandMark Savannah and then immediately took it to Mor/Ryde for the IS/Dexter disc brake upgrade.
I would not be without it on a unit this size and value.
