Sounds like the guy that put your unit together (plumbing) was having a bad day, ripe it out and replace, get it over with. Use Rectorseal 5 on threaded fittings.
What is this guy smoking, "true diesel" is a inline 6 cyl. Wonder if you have ever heard of the E9 Mack V8 or the 3408 Cats that were installed in class 8 trk's. Yet "true diesel" (proper spelling) has a V8,,,,,,,,,Oh Well! Some folks childern.
When you connected to the campground spigot did you make sure that the WH was full of water before turning on the electric heater?
You stated that when you tested the water there was not hot water, did you get cold water out of the faucet?
If the check valve in the outlet of the WH was stuck...
Both are a must I use a Valterra full flow reg A01-1117VP and a Surge Guard 50 amp unit. Have had the surge guard trip a couple of times, usually on low voltage and once with a bad pedestal at a rv park.
In my shop I have a 14" lam beam that I hook a rope block and tackle from and hoist the whole unit in and out of the truck, drop it on a dolly done. Got the block and tackle off the web if I remember was around $40. You would want to make sure your garage roof joists will hold up to the weight...
Our 3000 RK has one black tank and two gray tanks both 40 gal. In the UDC there are two valve handles the front is the black tank the rear is the gray for the bathroom. The other gray for the kitchen is on the side of the frame just behind the slide out, it also has it's own hose hookup.
According to the inof sheet the 3300CK has a laundry door, will be somewhere where it will dump into the front storage compartment. We have never used ours, the basket in the closet works just fine.

This is done alot, all of our F350's had steel wheels on the inside rear. Never noticed that the inside tires wore out any faster than the outside. I've also seen class 8 trucks with steel wheels on the inside. IMHO I do not believe that the tire wear is caused by the aluminum wheel flexing...
