Sounds like the guy that put your unit together (plumbing) was having a bad day, ripe it out and replace, get it over with. Use Rectorseal 5 on threaded fittings.
What is this guy smoking, "true diesel" is a inline 6 cyl. Wonder if you have ever heard of the E9 Mack V8 or the 3408 Cats that were installed in class 8 trk's. Yet "true diesel" (proper spelling) has a V8,,,,,,,,,Oh Well! Some folks childern.
When you connected to the campground spigot did you make sure that the WH was full of water before turning on the electric heater?
You stated that when you tested the water there was not hot water, did you get cold water out of the faucet?
If the check valve in the outlet of the WH was stuck...
Both are a must I use a Valterra full flow reg A01-1117VP and a Surge Guard 50 amp unit. Have had the surge guard trip a couple of times, usually on low voltage and once with a bad pedestal at a rv park.
In my shop I have a 14" lam beam that I hook a rope block and tackle from and hoist the whole unit in and out of the truck, drop it on a dolly done. Got the block and tackle off the web if I remember was around $40. You would want to make sure your garage roof joists will hold up to the weight...
Our 3000 RK has one black tank and two gray tanks both 40 gal. In the UDC there are two valve handles the front is the black tank the rear is the gray for the bathroom. The other gray for the kitchen is on the side of the frame just behind the slide out, it also has it's own hose hookup.
According to the inof sheet the 3300CK has a laundry door, will be somewhere where it will dump into the front storage compartment. We have never used ours, the basket in the closet works just fine.
Wish it was that easy, took me awhile to get the hang of it use http://www.satsig.net/maps/satellite-tv-dish-pointing-usa.htm to get the info for where to aim. Rigged up a compus to rough aim, then use the tv satellite program to fine tune. The skew and elevation are very important if you are...
This is done alot, all of our F350's had steel wheels on the inside rear. Never noticed that the inside tires wore out any faster than the outside. I've also seen class 8 trucks with steel wheels on the inside. IMHO I do not believe that the tire wear is caused by the aluminum wheel flexing...
Great post, I have two of these from Rockler, love their site have ordered way to much stuff from them, heck I thing they know my orders before I even send them.
Would guess that all the pump noise is because when they install the pump they do not use a couple of feet of hose in and out of the pump. They just use the pex line in and out which is too stiff and knocks and bangs with the pump vibrating. My pump was only installed with one screw so yours...
Where does one ever get the idea that the wheels flex and cause uneven tire wear. You have a alignment problem, the trailer is too heavy for the axles mounted under it. If offset wheels were the problem than all class 8 trucks would only wear out one side of a tire, these wheels are almost a...
Ray I believe he said it was a new battery, so now I go out and read and update the memory bank on batteries and how to test and such. Some great info in this link.

Now this is getting deep, have you had this BC by a dealer? The frame and all would still be under warranty, I would be in contact with HL and Lippert to see what they have to say before I would run off the deep end.
Not sure about a your model but all the rest seem to have circuit breakers mounted somewhere close to the battery, some of the circuit breakers have a little reset buttom also they have a habit of placing fuses in the power line to the switch for the jacks. Of course it is in a black fuse holder...
Are you sure the disconnect actually isolates the battery would be the first place I would look. Is the battery fully charged when you put it to bed? It takes a good while for the inverter to charge a deep cycle battery and you will get a fall off of battery condition. Lastly you could have a...
They make cable lubing clamps that actually work pretty good and they are cheap, here is a link to one of the many out there in web land.

Still under warranty good load the Sundance up and take it out and see if you can make it repeat the problem, sounds crude but probably would be best if the trans just blew up, just kidding. If you take it to the dealer they will never be able to make it repeat the problem (no load). On our F450...
I assume it is a Dometic toilet, on our Sundance the control valve had a very small crack in it. Would only leak when you depressed the pedal to supply water to the toilet. Try depressing the pedal a little to start the water and see if a leak appears. This valve is very easy to replace if that...
I too am confused with the issue, on our Sundance there was a couple of places on the slide outs that got smeared with some seal caulking compound. Cleaned it off with acetone and it never came back.
According to Suburban WH co. if you have the 3 valve system the check valve is a waste of time and money, according to them the old systems only used two valves so the check valve was needed. I took mine out and everything works just fine, I took it out before it broke out, cheap plastic piece.
Now that's just wrong operating the slide with four wide bodies sitting there stuffing their faces, the motor should have said move your fat a**'s and I will work again.
If you used 3/16" thick would be probably more than enough, just make sure you make the vertical and horz legs long enough around 4" or so you can get 4 or 5 rivets in each side. You will have to find extruded angle to get legs that long. If you have a metal recycler/scrap joint near you that is...
$200 per hr shop time is not out of the question these days, just think about all of the regulations and crap a business has to put up with, back in the 90's I used to charge $150 to hit the switch on the welder. Go get some aluminum angle and cut and prep your own gussets, I think I would SS...
The welds on these units are all done with a mig wire feed welder and most of the welds are crap as you can see by your broken weld. Finding somebody that has a Hi-Freek Tig unit might not be easy. I have a Tig welder but don't have the high frequency unit for it, I can weld alum with my mig...
I just love that answer "that is the way we always do it" got the same answer when asking why they still put a check valve in the outlet of the HW heater. I've turned our shower faucet over and it works just fine and will probably save the hose.
It's tripping your 30 amp main??? Does the Microwave have a breaker in the main panel? A microwave will only pull about 9-10 amps max so there is no way it should trip the main. Does it do it every time you use it?
Our SD 3000RK is the same way, probably Ray is correct saying it is so you can reach higher with the wand so of this stuff really makes you scratch your head with big question mark floating about your head like a cartoon. After a yr and a half the hose is starting to kink, so I am going to turn...
X chocks work great, hold the trailer from rocking and moving. I also use a old school hard rubber chock block for real trucks that i found along side the road one day. Beats the crap out of those cheapo plastic yellow ones.
Need to move that inverter up on blocks just in case one of those quality pex tubing connection starts to leak. These people think that the black flex wire cover is a cure all for crap installations. I removed almost all of it and bundle tied all the wiring.
While connected to city water with the pump off you should not have water flowing through the pump and yes it will fill up your tank in time. Is there a valve in the line into the pump if so turn it off and see if the sound stops. I would guess that the water is leaking from a fitting in or out...
Great job Ray and I thought my rats nest was bad before three days of clean up and a few bags of wire ties and pex fittings. I just love how in pic 5 you see the 120 V plug for the inverter nailed to the up right, classic just classic bet that air duct would actually pass some air if it were...
Sooooooooo where did all of the water come from? I think what you are hearing with the city water on is water back flowing through the pump and into your fresh water tank. There is a check valve in the outlet side of the pump to prevent water from back flowing.
So with city water on is there a...
Cookie pretty much covered checking out the 120 volt circuits. In your post you state that the neutral and ground are not connected together as per NEC. The neutral and ground must only be together in the MAIN supply panel no where else in the circuit, not in any sub-panel which is what a power...
