Main AC Unit Not Cooling Enough.... Some options?

Our BH3670 is on a semi permanent site at an RV resort on Lake Havasu AZ. Our BH did not have a 2nd unit in the bedroom. Our site is only 30amps. So, second roof unit in the bedroom was not an option. Did NOT want to install an ugly window unit. Went to Home Depot, purchased a free standing...

    LED Awning Light Warning

Re: A message for prospective Heartland RV owners. As Cookie noted, are those repeated holes caused by the heat from the smoked LED? If so, it appears the damage was done when the awning was rolled up. I am not familiar with this system. Can the lights be turned on when in the rolled up...

    Slideout helper Jacks

If jacks are placed beneath a slide, loss of tire inflation can cause severe damage to the slide rams and associated equip. Slides are made to support the weight and should not sag. Believe most manufacturers do not recommend jacks under slides.

    Help with table between recliners

Our 08' BH3670 came with a table between the recliners. It is extremely useful. Can't imagine Heartland didn't realize that. Seems like a very odd way for Heartland to try to reduce the cost of their very fine product.

In the market, in a while (Bighorn).

We have an 08 BH 3670. Bought it in 2010 and saved an enormous amt of $. We love the floor plan and all the storage. We sometimes stay in it for months at a time. We find it ideal for the 2 of us and our very large dog. When our grandsons visit for weeks at a time there is still plenty of room...

    Heartland . . . What do we do . . . ?

I normally end up learning a lot from this Forum. So far from this particular post I've learned: 1) At the delivery PDI the dealer said some outside panels needed to be replaced 2) Dealer replaced those panels & the caulking was never correct - still leaks That's it. That's all that I've...

    PDI of used Big Horn

I've mentioned this one before. Determine the location of the "vacuum breaker check valve" on the black water jet system. If it is encased withing a wall, have them relocate it. And not above electrical units which may be below it in the basement area.

    Anode Rod

Good advice on the relief valve etc. before removing the rod. If you already have the rod out and it shows some depletion, renewing the anode rod is very cheap maintenance. The rod is suppose to erode - least noble metal. IOW - Let the water eat up the rod and not the tank & fittings.

    Another Problem, go figure

Toughest problem we've had with our 08' BH3670 was the vacuum breaker check valve on the jet line of the black tank. This valve was located within the wall behind the toilet. Completely encased within the wall and not visible. What was visible was water flowing from under the wall and out onto...

    BH3670 City Water Connection

Well, after "gentle" efforts with a Dremel and then the attempted use of snap ring pliers - No Joy. Dis-similar metals etc, seem to have the remnants of the male connection pretty well melted within the "City Water" connection. Ordered a new Fresh Water Fill / City water connection assembly...

    BH3670 City Water Connection

John - Yes, this will be my first effort once we return to our BH. For the time being, just switched to FW Tank/12v pump. Thought a slight grove or score from the Dremel may give the needle nose pliers a little something to twist against. These have all been good suggestions and I thank...

    BH3670 City Water Connection

Yep, I was just thinking about trying this with a Dremel. Unfortunately, none of the snapped off male hose fitting is protruding beyond the female CW connection. So, I would be unable to grab and smash the male fitting with needle nose pliers, as previously suggested.
