Laurent - Did you have your bikes covered & that is why you had so much wind problem?? I haven't heard anyone having that problem with them in the front. So wondering if that is an issue even if you don't have a cover on the bikes? Thanks, Cyndi

For emergency purposes is there a manual for manually putting in the slide & awning for 2012 Elkridge 28tsre?

B&W for sure. Easy to take in & out (light weight) & never hear any chucking or any other noise when towing. Really really like this hitch.

Sure I will post some when we get it all hooked up. Probably be a while don't think we will be getting it until sometime over the winter.

Getting ready to purchase an Arvika Bike Rack that mounts on the pin box of 5th wheel. Anybody have any experience with mounting them on pin box & how do they ride? Much bounce?? Looks like a good system buy very expensive. Thanks

Bob, Thanks for all the info. Noobee posted that his is bolted on the side of his pin box. He also gave me the link to the company that makes a bike rack that mounts that way. I also saw one like that in Myrtle Beach on an Elkridge like mine so I think that would work. I'll have too check it all...

Lance, We can't see our pin box - it has a white plastic cover over it. I know we will have to cut a hole in it to attach a bike carrier. How does the carrier attach?? Do you have to weld it on or can it bolt on??

How much weight can it hold? I have a bike carrier that holds up to 4 bikes & slides into a 2" hitch but it is heavy & that is without the bikes. But I would like to try your setup it sounds like the easiest.

Someone told me you could mount another tank alongside of the original tank & you could switch between tanks when one is empty. I really haven't looked into it yet except for posting on this website.

We stayed at Cherry Hill also. Nice campground & if you don't want to take their bus to the metro you can drive there. On the weekend there is plenty of parking for your truck. There would prob. be enough room during the week also. They also have a pet walking service if you are going to be gone...
