BF Goodrich Tread Separation on F350

Reading all of this adds support to my buying Goodyear tires...I have had two failures on Goodyear's and Goodyear stepped up immediately. I sent pictures of the damage and the failed tire ($3,500 in one case) and within a couple of weeks I had a new tire and a check for the trailer repairs...

Thanks guys, I checked the "plug in's for all systems in the entertainment center, all OK. There was no loss of power to anything else in the trailer, microwave, RAC. I have a voltage meter in the trailer..all seemed well. I think that would eliminate the thought of loosing one leg and if I...

Crank Handle for rear scissor stabilizers

I have exhausted all efforts to find a replacement crank for the rear electric scissor jacks on my 2008 Bighorn. You would think that Heartland would make the Landing Jacks and the rear stabilizer scissor jacks take the same crank, but the female end on the rear jacks is smaller. I've tried...

Planning a trip from Memphis, TN to the North Carolina line, via I40. Any suggestions on campgrounds along the way? We won't mind traveling about twenty or thirty miles off I40. Our destination is about 550 miles up I40 and we like the 250 mile 2:00 rule for traveling. Thanks for any...

    SOLVED: Gap on slide seal..big!

My ODS living room slide has a significant gap at the right side top. Large enough to feel wing intrusion and you can see light. I would say the gap is about an inch at it's worst point. Left side of slide seals good. I know that slides can be adjusted but is this best left to an "expert"...

    Filling the Fresh Water Tank????

Thanks guys..all good ideas. To expound on my original post. I do use a short section of hose (3' approx) to fill my tank while first blowing into the fill port to remove any water via sag. John wrote that "I could be pulling air at the pump". My take on this is that if that was happening I...

    Filling the Fresh Water Tank????

08' 3400RE 75 gallon fresh water tank. We don't use our fresh water tank very often but on our current trip we had to fill the fresh water tank. I extremely dislike the system for filling the tank. All previous 5R's have had a valve that allows you to fill fresh water tank while hooked up to...

Monitor gauge readings after fresh water fill?

I don't fill my fresh water system very often, only about three or four times since having the RV....This last time I filled fresh water holding tank a strange thing happened. After filling, all monitor values topped out to "full". I, like most RV'rs, don't put any confidence in the monitors...
