    Refrigerator Slide needs roller replacement

Ok, our kitchen slide has been making a rattling noise and pushing the vinyl a bit for a while now. It sounds like the roller is either cracked or not turning as it comes in. While we were on our last trip I noticed the vinyl is cut in 2 places ( I assume this is at the ends of that noisy...

Landmark Syracruse Featured in Trailer Life March 2016 issue

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, feel free to merge if another thread was already started. The Landmark Syracruse floorplan was the featured trailer in the latest issue of Trailer Life magazine. The article was very complementary.

    Big Country on I-57

If you where on I-57 near Effingham Il. north bound pulling a Big Country with a small single axle trailer behind it you may want to check your roof. When it met this rig the entire front section of the roof was billowing up with air under it.

Lighter interior wood - THANK YOU Heartland!

Just saw the pictures of the new lighter wood offering - Honey Maple ! Very nice and will help with that claustrophobic feeling that many have with the darker wood. But... on the other hand... I do NOT like the coffered ceiling look! If a lighter "airier" interior is the goal, the addition...

    Wider is better

I would like to see the Landmark body widened to 102 inches. That would allow deeper slides. And take it to a new level above the Bighorn.

    Attention: Interior Designer

We had the opportunity this past weekend to see all of the Landmark floorplans at The Rally in Louisville. Love the floorplans - especially the Key Largo! While we are not in the market to trade at the moment, I would not have selected LM if I were trading due to the interior color schemes...

Saw a rubber roof billowing on I-65 near Louisville, KY

I saw a white pickup pulling a bighorn through Louisvlle Ky today on I-65 and the rubber roof looked like the front half had air under it. So if that was you, you might want to check things out. Kenny

    Kathy gets a new hip!

Well, Tuesday morning I took that huge leap of faith and had my bad left hip replaced. Everything went fine, and I was allowed to come home today. There is little pain, keyboarding requires more concentration than I remember :) Now comes the rehab- and a new pain-free life, hopefully.

    Older posts/threads suggestion

We have noticed that often a new post will be added to an older post. I think it would be helpful if a "notice" could come up when you are viewing a older post. Older posts may contain outdated information, but if you don't notice the date on the original post, it would be easy to believe...

Anyone going to the FMCA rally in Perry GA in March?

All this cold weather has me looking for someplace warmer to camp, and I found out about this... For the first time that I know of, the FMCA is allowing towables to attend their rally. Wouldn't it be fun to have a big ol' Heartland rally at the FMCA?? We could show them how the "trailer...

Water in belly from driving in the rain?

We have a recurring problem with water in the underbelly which soaks the insulation of our Landmark Augusta. RV Capital service center is currently working on finding the leak. So here's the latest on the leak - they cannot find anything leaking in the plumbing on either the pressure or...

    More Bad Luck

We got a call this morning from the guys at RV Capital - someone broke into our Landmark last night and stole both televisions  Apparently that's the only thing missing, but we won't know that until we are able to go up to check things out for ourselves next week. Now I'm waiting for my...

First time out and a question

We finally got to take our new Augusta out for the weekend and it was wonderful. But when we were all ready to leave we could hear a fan running in the area of the refrigerator. It was pretty loud and could be heard inside and outside. We drove home and it was still running (3 hour drive)...

    Curved step covers?

Getting our new Augusta ready for some warmer weather and got to thinking - we have always used the dirt-grabbing carpet step covers, but the LM has curved steps. Do the standard covers fit ok, or do we just skip using them?
