    Garage area sleeping

We drilled additional holes in the railing for the upper bunk to hold just above the windows. Gives plenty of clearance for using the dining table and not have to move the upper bunk for sleeping, just needed a longer ladder to get up to the bunk. Easy Peasy!

    Cyclone 4000 Kitchen Mod

Well the kitchen in the 4000 has limited storage space, so when we discovered there was unused space under the sink in the peninsula it was a no brainer that we had to use it! My husband does all the work and does a wonderful job! We had ordered supplies from Heartland to be able to have the...

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

Well, overall we took ours into the local dealer October 7 and from there it has gone back to the factory. I am sure I will hear soon from Heartland on the status of the unit. Heartland is very very good with communication and I am sure they are doing an excellent job. Will give updates as...

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

Well... we had to take EVERYTHING out of the unit as she is going back to be worked on. OMG! 24 storage tubs later and it is pretty much all packed away. Not sure when they will pick up the camper or how long it will take for it to be fixed... guess we will see. NOW I have to figure out...

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

UNBELIEVABLE... still waiting to find out what the **** will be done. We finally asked our dealer since there are sooooo many things wrong with this unit what if we just traded it back into you and got a different unit? The figures they threw back at us was a $10,000 loss on our unit and...

I know I have seen that in the past as well. However the dealership pulled up all the email conversations that have been going back and forth.

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

The camper is at the dealership and they are waiting for the factory to determine if the unit will be shipped back to the factory for repairs or if Heartland wants the repairs done at the dealers location.

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

Well.. we are still waiting for word on the camper... if it is going to be able to be repaired locally or if it will have to go back to Heartland.

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

Well, still waiting for a decision on how the repairs on our 4000 are going to be approached. I have to say I hope that Heartland allows the camper to be fixed locally. I have full confidence in our dealer and the shop and know they will give it 100%

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

We too have 'fixed' several issues ourselves while we were using the camper this season. The biggest issue was the bathtub leaking directly into the underbelly. It was discovered that the tub flange that came with the camper had too much of a bevel to allow the flange to seal completely so...

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

Not sure what happened as I had pictures attached to my original post. So will try it again! Here are the pictures I had attached to show what we have going on. 7.)The bottom of the paneling that curves around the kitchen sink counter is splitting along the bottom. 8.) There is a LARGE...

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

I do not want to give anyone the impression that I am bashing Heartland... I am not... I would have to say that the opposite is true as I am 'brand loyal' as this is the 3rd Heartland Cyclone we have owned!!!!! Heartland has historically been a wonderful company to deal with and we apparently...

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

Murphy, I totally agree. Cars, trucks and even computers are constructed with components originally built by other manufacturers. When something goes wrong with my Dodge, Dell Computer or even Samsung laptop where the issue arises from one of the components, I am not directed to the...

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

Do not get me wrong, there are lots of things I do like about our 4000 but all the issues are really clouding the waters to enable us to say we are behind the camper 100%! To be honest I have to say we have had 3 Heartland Cyclones, a 2007 3795, at 2011 3812 and now the 2014 4000. Our...

    What the HAZE!!??

Have no idea what is going on here. Getting the 4000 ready to go out on first trip, but is still quite chilly up here. To make it comfortable to work in the Cyclone, I have had to run the heater and also was running the fireplace to make sure it was working. In the middle of working I...

New to Us Cyclone and Tying down the toys

Congrats and welcome to the forum! Our first camper was a Cyclone 2007 3795, you got an awesome rig there! Our rigs all have had D rings and we always tie down with ratchet straps. Good call on replacing the tires! I can only speak from our experience and the advice we can give is baby...

Pictures of the 4000... Home Sweet Home!

Really like both of those mods!! When we get caught up a bit on our 'to do list' I think I will want to tackle both of these! Question on the shelf behind the couch, does it interfere with the recliner?

    Assistance with a decision

Just looked on the Heartland site and the Torque garage sizes are 10' and 12', Road Warrior have 10', 12', 14' and 17.5' garages and the Cyclone is available in 10', 12', 14', 17.5', and 18' garages. As you can see there are lots of choices out there! To be able to keep your payments in the...

Pictures of the 4000... Home Sweet Home!

We have not secured the dresser permanently to the garage as we want it to remain moveable for when we load up the 4 wheelers and need the room. Dave plans to put in two straps upper and lower (like for the TV's) and run a rod through the handles and straps to secure the drawers shut. Brad...

Pictures of the 4000... Home Sweet Home!

Hey guys, thanks for looking and the nice comments. I had some of the decor that I carried over from our very first 2007 3795 and into the 2011 3812. When I started pulling boxes out from under my tonneau cover on my truck, Dave asks "Just how much did you spend?" I just grinned and said...

    Cyclone 4000...

Thanks everyone, will try to get some pictures posted. This is a brand new unit. And no offense to the fellas, but it is 'fellas' that do all the PDI's... vacuuming is not usually a fella's top priority generally speaking ;) but the areas we found the mess is the mattresses and drawers etc...

    Cyclone 4000...

is now sitting in the driveway! Have to say so far we really love this cyclone. The one thing so far that is so disappointing is, is how filthy the unit was in regard to construction dirt everywhere. Went to make the Happy Jac bed up and there was a ton of saw dust all over the top and under...

    Cyclone 4000 Satellite question

Thanks for the response! We have Dish and our receiver is too large (16" x 12 1/2") for the cubby that is there (13" x13" approximately). We have a dual receiver and dish so are hoping to be able to put the receiver into the bedroom where we can put the receiver onto the dresser.

We took the plunge and got the 4000

The second unit does not have the ramp door patio. This will be our 3rd toyhauler and as we didn't have it in the first two we really don't think we would use it that much. We spend most of our time out on the lake or 4 wheeling, skiing, etc... I still think that the patio is cool, but for...

We took the plunge and got the 4000

We were wondering though if this is a 'record' as we have had 3 campers in 3 years. All Heartland Cyclones, 2007 3795, 2011 3812 and now a 2014 4000.
