    Commercial RV Towing

I am a Transport Driver going on 5 years now and I like it. I drive all of USA & Canada, always an adventure. You are required to keep a Log Book, subject to Drug Test and keep maintenance records on your truck. You are paid per mile one way, sometimes might get a Back Haul for a little extra...

    Universal joint on my excursion.

Personally I would " Buck Up " and take to good repair shop and have in gone over front to back, top to bottom. Not fun to break down on road when traveling long distance. Also expensive for wrecker and repair shop may not be as good as you would like. Something like a complete DOT Inspection...

There is "Slop" work & there is Professional work done by Skilled Craftsmen, What does the RV industry employ ? I would like to think that Upper Management would care how units come to their Dealers, but maybe not. Reminds me of the TV cable add where some people are Settlers, we allow the Slop...

    where to get diesel

Pilot / Flying J, Love's, T/A, Petrol, Speedway --- all have Great Coffee also. Truck Stops pump large volumes of Diesel, so you get good fuel. As mentioned, Pilot / Flying J has a RV Plus card you can apply for and use a Control No. at Pump to start pumping. I would not buy Diesel from a low...

    Cb radio

I usually leave mine turned down real low or off because of the language, but it is nice to have when a traffic issue comes up and you wonder what lane to be in or what is happening ahead --- not real necessary to have real special set-up, if you just need information.

    Used One-Ton Market

Anyone else having problems with RAM 3500?

WOW !!! I recently looked at a 2015 Ram 3500 4X4 DRW. Pretty impressive truck I was thinking, but after reading these posts maybe not. I have a 2005 Ram 4X4 3500 and a 2006 Laramie both with 5.9 Diesel's ( the million mile motor ). Guess I am happy with what I have. Both run Great.

Fuel discount for RVers from Pilot/Flying J

Me think's Pilot/Flying J is great, I use the RV Plus card at pump, save 6 cents a gallon. Have 100 gallon bulk tank, so savings add up. Also confident of good fuel, good hot dogs, good coffee, easy in & out. Can also overnight if you choose. I pay by check in mail each month.

Washing the RV upon delivery to the dealer

As a Transport Driver myself, I am relieved that Forest River has taken the driver out of the business of paying the wash fee. Yes, the driver had to pay cash to the dealer, usually more than the $30.00 allowed and get reimbursed from the Transport Co. One time the RV Dealer had me take a unit...

    Paint on front cap

We have a 2011 Greystone 32RL and the front cap fades badly. We live in Michigan, so cause is not from to much sunlight. I keep trying to keep looking nice with orbital polisher, but only lasts for little while. Very frustring situtation on something you want to be proud of. Me thinks, there...

Florida to Michigan = First Real Adventure, Need Route suggestions

We have traveled Florida to Michigan many times towing our fiver. Always use my PC Miler GPS ( truckers unit ). It routes us up I-95 to I-26 over to I-77 North. Than cut over to US-23 North in Ohio. I would not want to go over the Jellico Mtns. on I-75. Just my 2 cents.

    Any Luck gps.

I like my PC Miler GPS, I have the larger screen. This is a trucker unit and you can set height, length, etc. It has many features compatible with RV driving. The POI is OK too.
