I have a new jack motor for my 2013 Cyclone 4100. The wires coming from the switch are Red and Black. The new motor wires are Black and White. If I connect the wires wrong, I expect the switch will just be backwards. Is that right, or will the motor be grounded out? Thanks or an advice.

I have used B&W products for years. I have two B&W Companion set-ups. One for the standard B&W Turnover Ball and one for the Ford Puck System. I also have two B&W Biker Bars for securing my motorcycles. B&W Products are strong, high quality, America made products that I am glad to recommend.
Found the spec sheet on Sailum's. Don't look like they would work either. Blowmax shows to be 30.8 Dia. and Sailum shows 31.7. There is barely 1.75 between the tires now. If I add almost .50 to each radius I will be about .75 between the tires. I don't think that is enough.
Any input?
I've looked into NTB and Pep Boys and I can't find any Sailuns in Texas. My axels are too close together for the Michelin Rib or LX (what I use on my TV). So it looks like I'm limited to Goodyear G614 (same Dia. as current Blowmax) or another Chinese tire. wish there were more options but...
Anybody have any experience with Vision Trailer Tires sold by Discount Tire? They are another Chinese tire. The ST 235/85R/16 is G rated, 3749LBS @ 110 PSI, and 14 ply, Speed rated @100MPH for $160. All sounds too good to be true. A friend of mine bought a set yesterday. I need new tires to...
I just got off the phone with the rep from Dynamic Tire. If my tire is deemed degective by the Dynamic inspectors the they will give me $125.00 for a new tire or a replacement Blowmax. $125 is about 1/3 of the cost of a tire that should be on a 4100. But its all up to their inspectors and after...
Thanks Bob, The Battery Switch is "on". The converter is working. The 12V lights, AC Thermostats are working, The cord is locked but I'm only on 30 amps.
I have a 2013 Cyclone 4100. It stays plugged into power all the time to keep the Fridge cold. When I tried to start the generator, the battery is dead. I don't understand why. Shouldn't the AC power keep the battery charged.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Kent
You would think that if there are so many RV forums filled with tire complaints, that the manufactures would do something about it. At the least they could fit the trailers for tires with higher ratings than required to act as a "cushion" so people aren't stranded or hit on the road somewhere...
I would like to know if LT245/75/16 E tires will work on my trailer. They have a load rating of only 3042, which sounds ok being that the axels are only 6000 LB anyway. I have ST235/80/16 Towmax (Blowmax) on it now. I had a blowout with 1500 miles on the trailer. I checked the pressure before we...
I had a blowout with the Towmax tires last week. The tires my have about 1500 miles on them. I want to change to the G619 but the only 16" is a 235/85. My axels are too close for the 85's. looks like Heartland set the Cyclone 4100 up for failure.
We had a blowout on a TowMax tire on Sunday. These tires have less than 1500 miles on them and the pressure was checked before we started home. We were 200 miles into the 350 mile trip when the tire blew out. It damaged the trailer wheel well and siding. I was one of three people I know of that...
Hi Dan. I turned on the pump and saw the leak from the pump. The pump is sitting on the floor at the same level and on top of the floor covering. No doubt where the water came from
I came home after an overnight trip to find the floor in the living room soaked with water. The trailer was not connected to city water and the pump was not on. I had used the pump before i left. I rarely used the pump. Maybe two times in eight months. I found the pump to be leaking. There is...
Hi Folks, I have a 2013 Cylone 4100. I was under the impression that as long as I was on shorepower that the generator battery would stay charged up. Boy was I wrong. I unhooked the shorepower and tried to start the generator and it was dead. I hooked up the shorepower and it started right up. I...
Well I got Satellite to the bedroom.
The outside TV had the coax conneced so I split the signal there. I then ran the coax up thru the floor into the bedroom under the dresser. I followed the washer drain into the closet. Up the inside closet wall behind the washer access. Then across 2 Ft of...
Thanks Porthole, That's exactly what I plan to do. It is just so fustrating the way they do, or better yet don't do, things at Heartland. I should have researched a little more before I purchased.

Well Heartland sent me a (new updated) drawing of the Satalite, cable, and air tv coax layout. At least they tried to help, but the drawing did not help because it did not even come close to matching what my trailer has.
So I started to do some NDT (Non destructive testing) to determine what I...
Does Heartland maintain construction drawings for each specific trailer they build? It would sure be helpful to owners trying to trouble shoot and repair problems that should never exist from the factory. Since Quality Control does not seam to be high on the priority list at Heartland, at least...
Thanks danemayor, but I don't have that in my trailer. I acts like the Sat connection in the bedroom is not connected to anything. Guess I'll have to drop the wall plates and see if there is and coax connected behind it.
I have a 2013 Cyclone 4100 King. It is supposed to be prewired for Satellite. In the UDC there are two connections marked SAT. With the dish connected to the connection on the right (rear), I can recieve signal to the living room. Everything works fine in there. When I take the same receiver to...
Can anyone tell me the sizes of the holding tanks on a 2013 4100 King. The Brochure is the only place that list the size. It shows 82 gal Black, and 82 gal Grey. But there are 2 black and 2 grey tanks. So does this mean they are 82 in each balck and grey tank or 82 together? I was thinking of...
Ltfiremedic, I too am very fustrated with the quality of workmanship and quality assurance in my new 4100, and with the parts department at Heartland. I bought my 4100 in July. There were a few little things that were in need of repair on the lot before we took possession. I spoke with the sales...
Here are the pics of the bunck bed bracing. Its hard to see in the pics. The first two are of the brace sitting on the counter top. The next two show the brace bolted to the floor of the bed.
I will look at the Jack and a satilite system later. I was in a rush to get something back up there as we a headed out in the morning for the Labor Day weekend. Thanks again
