We have given up on the front livingroom. The unit we drove over 2 hours to see was over priced and far from what we expected. Won't go into more details other than to say broken cabinets, missing trim pieces, and $15,000 more than the unit we had seen the day before of the same year BUT different model. Thanks but no thanks.
We also have found a nice 2012 Bighorn 3670RL at a dealership over 1 1/2 hours away. My question is does anyone have any real concerns about this year and model of Fiver?
It has the second AC, slide toppers, king bed, and the optional Charcoal Partial Paint Graphics Package.
it's not the normal white that's for sure and a real eye opener when you see it.

The only problems we have found on the unit is, the bottom trim molding, on the front bottom corners, is not where it should be, almost like it's shrunk or been pulled out of its track, and needs to be replaced or some how fixed. It also has no 6 point leveling system installed on it so that's an added expense of around $6000. All things we need to consider when possibly buying it. The dealership said it would redo all the caulking on the unit that needed to be redone, and we would have a full PDI for anything else we might find. No warrany other than a 30 day on appliances.

So please any help on this unit would be welcome, good, bad or otherwise.

Thanks for the help

The 3670RL was probably one of the most liked units made by Heartland. Lots of room, lots of cabinet and counter space.

We love ours.

Absolutely LOVE our's. The entertainment center and bathroom on the 12's are a little different than our 11 but the rest is pretty much the same. Plenty of storage, love the kitchen.

Check everywhere for any sign of moisture. that includes behind the panel by the hot water tank. Check the roof before they caulk. The recaulking might hide many bad signs of water leaks. Our 2009 had lots of moisture problem that not only caulking could fix.

The rest of the unit is usually great.

We love our 2013 model. We've had no problems with moisture and the biggest issues came from the tire blowouts (Towmax). We've made sure that we maintain it regularly (including caulk inspection and replacement). Small problems, sure, but nothing that made us regret the purchase.

We had an 11 3670RL and really loved it. The storage and kitchen countertop space could not be beat. That vinyl shrinkage on the lower front is normal. Easy to replace and not expensive. We didn't have the level-up but do now and it's a definite plus. Our rig had Sailun tires which were great. Tires on the rig you are looking at should have been replaced. Check that. Recommend Sailun if you have to replace tires yourself.

We really wanted to stay with Heartland but are in the process of buying a new 2014 Bayhill. Because of the interest rate and length of loan it makes more sense going with a brand new unit that still has a full manufacturers warranty and lower interest rate. We have driven over 800kms just last week alone looking at used Heartland products but other than the one we were asking about they all fell short on price vs quality. We cannot afford the prices of a new Heartland product up here. Because of the Canadian dollar the cost to bring a new unit up here has increased a fare bit in the past year, leaving us out of the heartland products.

The deal is only just begun no paperwork signed yet but at least we can still go out an enjoy our travels.

Sorry to hear that you're thinking of switching brands. If this trailer is a new unit that wasn't sold, be certain to check all caulked joint from the roof down. Dealers don't usually check on this on for sale units, and it's very likely that the caulk has deteriorated to some extent. I would insist that it be checked and repaired as necessary before signing any papers.

I agree with the others. Our 2011 BH3670 has been great after 5+ years and 40K miles. One of the best floor plans ever IMHO. Trace
