Bedroom slide in/out power button

On our Landmark, the toggle button for the slide to go in/out seems to be getting stuck. I brought the slide in one day, and that evening I walked towards the camper and heard a funny sound. Went inside and found the switch was still in the IN position.

Anyone else have this?

Would it hurt to give it a squirt of ?? WD-40, or silicone spray maybe??

I had a switch, although not for the slides, that did the same thing as yours.
I messed with it for a couple of years and no matter what I did it still stuck.
Save yourself some grief and just replace the switch.
