Hi Tom,

Is it possible to contact the zoo and see if they will have staff available to pick up the donations at Seashore. Other chapter leaders have done this and invited the staff to dinner on Saturday. It may be worth a call to the zoo. This also allows them time to speak to the club about their projects and what our donations will do for the animals in their care.

If this is not possible, John and I will help you with the delivery as long as the plan fits into our schedule.

I just wanted to apologize the the group and say how sorry I am for not being able to follow-through on what I started. Lisa and I were really looking forward to attending our first group rally and we were excited about helping with the give back program that will help such a great organization as the Cape may Zoo. I would encourage you all to inundate them with donations and show them that Heartland owners do really care.

Hey John and Lisa don't fret none! Although we would love to have you and the kids with us, we understand that things happen and plans are always bound to change!

I hope we will see you soon!

Hi Tom and Mary,

We are having to cancel as well. My parents are not doing very well and I need to free up my w/e's to be able to travel to Pgh to be with them.

Thank you and good luck with your first rally!

Hi Tom, We've not communicated before other than your welcome to me into the club. My wife and I would like to reserve J17 for the oct. rally. Let me know if this site is still available so I can contact the the CG. Thanks in advance, looking forward to meeting everyone!!! Ed

ok, reservation made deposit paid with one small snafu. J17 it seems is already occupied by a smith so I had to take J4. If J17 is available when I get there maybe I can swap it out. Either way looking forward to meeting all of you.Ed.

Ed, I have updated the site assignments, and will check with the CG to see what happened. I believe that someone cancelled and when they did the CG lost track of its dedicated status and it became an open site. I am quite sure that we will give these people a warm Heartland Welcome.
