How do you remove the vent cap?

I haven't been up on the roof to check it out, but how do you get the vent cap off without removing the whole vent assembly? I need to check my black tank vent tube.

I think most vent caps have a screw located under the spot of caulk opn the top of the cap.

Yep, I was up on the roof the other day eyeballing my vent caps. They all have a screw under a dab of caulk.
