I am the new owner of a 2009 3400rl Bighorn and was wondering if the king pin tri pods will help keep the movemant down on the unit. Thank you, Burt Mills
Try a search on the forum as this topic has been discussed previously. I use a tripod, myself, and I think they help, but others have differing opinions.
We also have an aluminum one. It seems to help a bit. The JT strongarms would be best but they're pretty pricey. When we're parked for extended stays we used concrete blocks and stabilizer jacks just fore and aft of the axles and that makes things pretty solid. Wheel chocks also help a lot. When we pull out we just leave the blocks behind. Only a buck a piece.
For more info on JT Strong Arm, check out their web site. I just ordered a set from www.RVWholesalers.com at a better price than I've seen them anywhere else.. ( including eBay ).
