Remote for Lippert Level up System

Hi everyone,

I know I have seen threads before on the remote functions not working properly, specifically the range of the remote. I just can't find them now.

In my case, the remote only works if I am very, very close to the unit. On my previous level up system, I could use the remote from the cab of my truck to raise or lower the landing gear and line the pin box with the hitch. This one, the unit is useless for this function as I have to get out of the truck and get close to the trailer (almost as close as the landing gear switch).

Is anyone having this problem? Any fixes?

Bob - this was the same for all my Landmarks. The transmit power of the remote, lack of external antenna on the remote, location of the receiver/antenna and the fact that your cab is a metal box - all add up for marginal connectivity from "inside the cab".

I'd get with Lippert by phone or email (info on main portal page) and open a dialog with them on how to improve the range. Wondering if a longer wire antenna on the receiver could be the fix...
