    EMS: Portable or Built-In?

Re: Portable or Built-In My decision was based on my 27 years in the tech industry. Call me paranoid but I have seen too many surge protectors, battery backups and power conditioners go up in flames. Given that I full time it's too much of a gamble, I went with the portable, plus it can move to...

    Fulltiming in a TT

I full time with my dog in a TT and friends that stay on the weekends, it's a 31 footer. I've been living like this for over a year and love it. I have plenty of storage in my trailer. All my tools I keep in my truck, I have a cap on my bed. The perk is if I break down or any of my buddys do...

    Hit by a truck

Sorry to hear this happened and hope you have a speedy recovery. I'm sure you already realize how lucky you are. That's one main reason I sold my street bike and bought a mountain bike, way too many close calls. The final straw was getting t-boned, which I was lucky enough to walk away from, guy...

    A/C Settings, High or Auto?

Thanks guys for all the input and thanks danemayer for the guide. I've been experimenting here in ST. George Ut., it's been 102 Fahrenheit on average and our humidity is usually 10 to 15 percent. What I've found was a big difference between Auto and Continuous fan. Continuous fan works fine but...

Axle repair shop in St. George Ut.?

Yes, Lippert is sending out the parts. The reason I'm looking for other shops, as mentioned above, without going into too much detail is I've seen many examples of both their work and to be delicate, their work was not up to snuff. I don't think I'd trust either one with my axles. Thanks, I'll...

Axle repair shop in St. George Ut.?

Lippert approved and provided me with a ref# and all other info. They are going to replace both axles on my North Trail. They said they are replacing the 2 5/8 beam with 3 inch, assuming beam = axle. What I need to know are there any trust worthy shops in or around the St. George area? I know we...

    Awning Clamps

I have used tie downs in the past, the downfall is by the time I needed to bring in the awning the wind was already strong, so it was always a fight to get her in. Now I just put out the awning as far as I need, it seems I never have to have the awning all the way out. I adjust the distance as...

    SOLVED: Thermostat problem

Re: Thermostat problem Thanks guys, after Silverado23 mentioned pressure last night I went out to check. I checked the tank that the regulator was switched to and it was pretty low but still had propane. So then I checked the other tank, just put a new tank on the other side last week. Someone...

    SOLVED: Thermostat problem

I have a Coleman-Mack thermostat and it's worked perfect all winter. In the last two nights I have woke up freezing to find the furnace not running and it was running fine before I went to sleep. The first night all I did was turn the heat switch off at the thermostat and back on. The furnace...

    Water leak under island sink

What a coincidence to see this thread. I just fixed my leaking sink today, it started dripping into my utensil drawer. 3 out of 6 clips were stripped and the silicone wasn't present in one corner. I had to redo the silicone, fixed the stripped clips and then added more clips.

    Exterior protection

+2 on NuFinish, used on my trailer and on my trucks for years now. I used Meguiars for a long time then I tried NuFinish again, it's easier, lasts longer and cheaper, plus it doesn't harm vinyl decals.

Bathroom Was robbing to much heat!

I had problems too but mine were due to 10ft hoses for 6ft runs. I shortened the furnace hoses and left enough to pull them out when needed. The hoses were bunched up and zip ties were squeezing the hoses to about half diameter. I also put metallic vent tape on the couplings where the hoses...

Tire and axle failure in 2011 BRS28 - HELP!!!!!!!!!

I've seen quite a few bent axle threads here and over at RV.net as well, mainly Lippert . I too have bent axles on a 7 month old North Trail. Heartland gave me the run around and pretty much told me I wasn't qualified to determine that the axles were bent and to take it to a Heartland approved...

    Forum Too Busy

There are a ton of logs to go through to track these things down. The IT guys need do other daily tasks dealing with computers, servers and...
