    Tow vehicle question

Great choice ... you will be much happier with a 3/4 or 1 ton. If you plan on keeping the truck for quite some time think long and hard about getting a diesel. Not only do they last longer if properly taken care of, the resale is much better as well.

User having a problem connecting to forum

What browser is he using? Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome? It's very difficult to troubleshoot issues like this without having the PC in front of me. If other pages seem to load ok send me a PM and I can troubleshoot it remotely if needed.

    Tow vehicle question

I have to second the opinion of not towing anything over 30' with a 1/2 ton.

    Any Ar15 Addicts?

I am a big fan of the "black gun". I have a RR with removable flat top. I use it to hunt coyotes and gophers. I am waiting on my form 1 to come back from BATF to build a suppressed SBR in 9mm on a Rock River lower.

    Spring Creek CG ... Again

T and I are here again just outside Big Timber MT. Bob and Patty are here with their Big Horn, they are great people. It's nice to finally meet some other Heartland owners from the forum.

    Driving through Yellowstone

We just returned from the park a few hours ago. Norris Junction to Madison Junction is experiencing 30 minute delays with traffic being choked down to 1 lane. There was HEAVY traffic in the park this trip as it is the heart of tourist season. We prefer to go to the park in September as the...

Spring Creek - Big Timber, MT

We try and come up at least a few times a year. It's only an hour drive from home and the CG is always great. The hosts here are very nice as well.

Spring Creek - Big Timber, MT

We are at Spring Creek just outside Big Timber, MT. There is a Big Country at the other end of the CG but every time I have walked by there is nobody home.

Home surveillance system to view online

Jim, I'll jump in here as I think I can see where you are going with your questions ... If I am off base let me know a little more about the specifics and I will do my best. A static IP is recomended but not 100% necessary. Using a dynamic DNS client to update DNS when your IP changes is...

Maiden Voyage in our ER 34QSRL

We are currently out on our maiden voyage with our new 29RKSA. So far nothing unexpected, the tow was effortless although I may need to increase the rear tire pressure in my TV as there was just a hint of bouce. This is most likely due to the road we travelled. Keep enjoying your Elk Ridge...

    Montana (The State) - Rally/Club?

Bob, Glad to hear you may be bringing your rig. Spring Creek is NOT the Big Timber KOA and if I can put my .02 in stay away from the KOA. I sent you a PM with my contact information, if you want to give me a call I can elaborate a little more on the Big Timber KOA. Here is the link to Spring...

    Montana (The State) - Rally/Club?

I should have remembered you were'nt bringing your Bighorn ... you said that earlier. The Greycliff area is nice. I used to work bees all over Sweet Grass County, we had a lot of hives up that boulder valley. We'll for sure get together for at least a meal. J
