My 3670RL has done that since we bought it. We just figured it was part of the converter doing its checks.

Re: It’s been a great ride! Sorry to hear the news Jim, seems a lot of companies are having to cut back right now. Best of luck in where ever you land. Thanks for staring the Heartland Owners Club for us.

    2015 California RV Show (Pomona)

Wife and I went to the show today. Looked at the new BigHorn and Landmark 5th wheels. We both liked the 3575 Elite. Close to the 3670RL we own now but better shower enclosure for me. Looked at the Landmark Newport and Syracuse. The Newport is a very nice layout with the 1/2 bath. But too heavy...

    Wheel chair accessable 5th wheeel

I have seen online the newmar canyon star 3911 motorhome. It comes with a wheelchair platform lift, roll in shower, sink in bathroom that a chair fits under, and other cool mods. My problem is the $188,000 base sticker price.

    Wheel chair accessable 5th wheeel

I was wondering if Heartland has any plans for a wheel chair accessable 5th wheel. I have had some medical issues and it is getting harder to use my bighorn. I have been looking around and mostly find accessable motorhomes. Thanks

Thor Industries buys controlling interest in Heartland RVs, LLC

Re: Thor quality and service Thanks for the update Jim. It will take time for everything to pan out and I am hoping the best for Heartland with continued success in all areas.

Thor Industries buys controlling interest in Heartland RVs, LLC

I love my Bighorn and Heartland RV. But I am not a fan or Thor or their products. So I will keep watch on how this plays out and they let Heartland run their business as themselves with little interfearance from Thor Corporate.

Lippert Easy Level Up system or Quadra Big Foot Leveling System, Which Better

Larry, I can comment on my BigFoot system. It was close to $4,000 when I had it added to our 3670. I do like that it is auto leveling, does it in abour 60 seconds. It can lift the tires off the ground but I dont do that. I love the fact that each ram has its own supply of fluid and you do not...

How far do you pull in a day?

Since the wife and I both work, 650 miles towing has been our maximum for distance. We prefer the 200 to 300 mile range like most do, but sometimes you have to push to meet a deadline.

Give Heartland your feedback on the 2012 Landmark - what do you want?

After owning out BH3670 sin Oct 2006 and compairing the two rigs this is what I would like to see. 1. Quadra leveling system standard. 2. Moryde independent suspention with disk brakes. 3. Beefer frame. 4. UDC and water manifold like the classics. 5. Furniture areas deep enough to swap...

The Sad Story of Larryheadhunter's Totaled Big Horn

Glad you are recovering and it worked out for your Bighorn that it is being covered by the insurance. Keep recovering from surgery, it is not always fun, but the outcome is normally better.

    F450/550 Question

Another option is to look at a MDT (medium duty truck) built on an international or freightliner chassis. A place I have looked at is 2L Custom Trucks in TX. Their website is www.2lcustomtrucls.com. I am not an employee of that company, I just like how they set the trucks up for pulling and...

Not a fun start of the year.

Well only into week 2 of rehab. My Dr. waited longer since I use my left leg for stability. Bonus was I had to have right shoulder rotator cuff repaired that happened during the fall. So no summer travel for me. Looking forward to a great fall season. Bill

    Bigfoot Leveling system..

Had it installed on our 2007 3670, we love it. Just make sure Heartland and Bigfoot confirm your frame can handle the lifting. If I buy another 5th wheel they will be installed before I take delivery.

    Big Horn 3670 A/C

Not a fun start of the year.

Well I had polio in 1956 and have been pretty mobile execpt for using my mobility scooter the past 12 years. Well in Feb of this year I fell and ended up tearing my quadricep tendon in my left kneee. Besides ouch, I am pretty much stuck to not moving since I can not put full weight on my bad...

Our Bighorn spends most of its time out at the Colorado river near Parker, AZ. Even when the heat gets bad the 5th wheel does well. Bill

    The Scorpion

I know the 6.0 and 6.4 were done for the newer emissions. The 6.7 will be interesting since it is their own motor this time. But Ford has been doing diesels over in Europe for a long time, so maybe some of the technologies came from there to the 6.7. Only time and consumer feedback will tell if...

    Remove Oven

You could get just a stove top, and fabricate an enclosure where the oven was to hold the new top. Then you could build out the lower area where the oven was for your ice maker.

Lefty, I use a leg brace, so I know it is not a full prosthetic, but I do know that if it does not fit right, it does hurt and I dont like using my brace. Make them fit yours till you feel comforatable using it. I hope therapy goes well and you adapt to the leg prosthetic quickly. Bill

Pondering Extended Warranty for my tow vehicle

The most expensive part of the truck is the motor. If you put the 4,200 away in savings for just in case, you will have money still in your pocket after 6 years. I would look at the Ford DIesel Engine Care plans. It takes the motor to 7/200. There is a basic that covers 13 areas and a plus...
