tires came in today. I ended up buying Michelin rib XPS. 245 75 16's. what a difference in quality over the towmax tires that are on it. American made, and weighing almost 20 pounds more a piece. They cost almost $1,900, but I'm thinking that's money well spent. Thanks for the info

The rim I have in my living room has only the load rating, no air pressure rating.

I downloaded the owners manual, and it does basically cover everything. If it drops below 1000 rpms for a second, it triggers a code. Of course it doesn't tell you how to fix it

I went to camping world this past weekend. as I figured they had nothing in stock, except four quarts of oil. Waiting for the UPS truck to show up now. And almost got all the old gas out.I checked for codes, and it brought up the 3-6 code. Which could be fuel filter issue.

anything's possible, but a, my cyclone has a carrying capacity of 3000 pounds. Not sure about that one. & B, how would you get the car in sideways? To me, it would be better to get the floor plan you want, put your car in the back, and have your friend follow you.

I have the companion hitch. The handle on the gooseneck part had the weld fail. Handle separated from it. I called b&w, they had me send a picture of the failed part. In less than a week I had a brand new hitch sent to me. Customer service is second to none.

I don't know about the new ones, but I have a 2004.5 dodge Cummins. The only difference between a 2500 and 3500 single wheel is a set of overload springs. I don't think its worth going one ton and not going dually. A 2500 with airbags would be the same. A dually would speed the load over 4...

Mine would actually stop my truck. If adjusted right and the brake controller is set up properly, that shouldn't be a problem. Plus, a lot of companies make upgraded brake parts.

You could look into getting air bags. That'll help level your tow vehicle. And maybe a tire upgrade to e rated ones. That will take away some of the sway due to the higher pressure/ increased side wall plys.

How about wiring in an inverter? I bought an 800 watt one from lowes for $43. I tried it to see if it would run mine. It did fine. Supposedly using 223 watts of power. the camper battery would charge from the tow vehicle while hooked up.

it's a switch for the tank heaters, ( grey, black, fresh ). Theyre not supposed to be turned on unless you're actually have liquid in them.

because I had the truck already when I upgraded to this, I just added airbags and ran it. From texas to nh. I averaged just over 10 mpg with plenty of power. its no race horse by any means, but when it gets up to speed it'll maintain it. as for not being a dually i just use quality tires maxed...
