You are correct. On the other side if you work good deals you could get a new utv and used cart for what the4x4 carts cost.

I went from an Open range 34' to a cyclone 4100 with a F-350 drw 4x4. The cyclone actually tows better than the lighter open range. Outside of acceleration I really didn't notice much of a difference in how I drive. Slightly wider turns and a little more space to back up. I bought a back up...
My first fiver I smoked the converter/inverter, tv, and micro wave. That was before I ever took it out. Dang 240v generators. Lesson learned the hard way!!!

We tried that and it didn't work while heavily loaded. Had to resort to having a bin in between the couch and freezer to keep it closed.

Since not everyone flips switches as often as I do I labeled every switch and am about to do all the dumps etc...a lil ocd I guess. Lol The guards are completely enclosed except one side. You can barely fit a finger to flip when needed.

Well that kinda negates having and inverter for the fridge to keep things cold when you drive and the freezer door opens.

To me there is a big difference between 75mph in SoCal and 75 mph in South Dakota. All things are relevant to your surroundings. Common sense goes a long way imo.

Re: 5500 Onan Generator will not prime or start - no power - Cyclone 3100
If you don't use the generator often I would look into using a non ethanol pure fuel in the tank during storage or run it completely dry. Normal fuel is only good for thirty days. Vp brand sef fuel is good for up to two...
Believe me, I want to be safe too. I have my two babies with me. Everything I do is within reason. For this trip time was more important than fuel. Most of my faster speeds were on flat roads with speed limits of 80mph. Obviously in the mountains and tights roads and turns I couldn't get close...
I feel like I'm being scolded by my parents for speeding! Lol. I completely understand what your saying. The hotter it got the slower I went.(70-72) I usually drove 75 at night with temps around 70 deg. 80 was just to pass mostly. As far as stopping distance I'm usually very cautious about...
Now that I've completed my first and very long trip in my cyclone 4100 I must say I am extremely pleased with it.
Here's a couple dislikes. (Food for thought)
Ceiling fans are almost useless. I had a magic fan or something like that in the last fiver and it worked much better.
The tank heater...
Let me clarify! I don't possess the patients to go that slow. Plus I have a 2 and 4 yr old. Even with dvd's they still only have a certain amount of time they will sit still. Lol.

Just went round trip to Yellowstone from Maryland. About 5000mi. Speeds of 70-80 mph with outside temp of 85-100 deg. With a '16 cyclone 4100. Thankfully no issues with sailuns. With all the tire issues I've read about it was on my mind the entire trip.

I have a cyclone 4100 and installed a furrion frc12ta-bl. It works when hooked to the 12v cord for the monitor. But plugged in to the camper I have no power. Any idea?
I have 2 big tanks here for my house. They fill my bottles when they're here. So the price isn't the issue. It's the consumption rate. And unless you run solar you will always need power. And I don't think solar would run 2 or 3 a/c's. So unless your somewhere that the temp doesn't change your...
I'm not educated on all the different electric heating systems on the market, but I've been in my Open Range for the last month and with the temps dropping below freezing my space heater can't keep up at night. If I ran the furnace even at night I'd go through 2 bottles every week or two. From...
I've seen mirrors on the front above the fifth wheel on a few brands out there. With trucks getting longer, and seats getting bigger with headrests it's very difficult to line everything up. A mirror would greatly help. And it's an inexpensive add. Just make sure you design them for previous...
My wife and I met AJ at the Hershey show. We are getting ready to pull the trigger on a new 4100. He told me that the new models being ordered all came with the new dark cabinets in the bathrooms and also the the ramp came with the new fold in railings(pics?). I just wanted to make sure that was...
