Anderson 4-way not drawing sanitizing solution

I wanted to sanitize the fresh water system in our Bighorn yesterday, but had trouble with the system.

• I moved the 4-way valve to the "sanitize/winterize" position
• Attached a short hose to the main water inlet
• Ran the short hose to a jug of sanitizing solution (1/4 cup of bleach in a gallon of water)
• Turned on the water pump.

I could hear the pump run, but the system did not draw the solution into the fifth wheel.

(I ended up loading the garden hose with a bleach solution, then using the normal tank fill process to get it into the tank).

Did I do something wrong with the sanitizing process? Or could the 4-way valve need fixing?

Sanitize/Winterize routes cleaning solution or antifreeze through the pump and to the plumbing faucets, shower, toilet. It does not route fluid into the fresh tank.

Did you open a faucet so the pump could push fluid to that fixture?

OK, thanks. I mis-understood the function of the sanitize setting.
