Black water tank vent

Has anyone used one of the aero tank vents on the black water vent? The one I am referring to looks like a wind vane and rotates to catch the wind. Do they work and are there any problems with them? Thanks for your replys. I just saw a new one ( new to me ) that claims to eliminate the use of toilet chemicals with its aero action. I have a 3055 and assume that the black tank vent is the one above the commode room.

I installed mine today, don't know the results yet. Mine is the "Cyclone" brand, I got it at Wally World.

I have them on all my tank vents. They work fine.

Was having an issue with odors from the blank tank being sucked it at times when running the 2nd A/C unit. I installed a cyclone brand vent in June and solved the problem.

We used the cyclone vent, does pretty much the same thing and we are happy with it. I think as long as you can get the factory cap that restricts air off and something that will promote a vacum you can't go wrong.
