Sort of. We gleefully tore up the awful carpet in our fifth wheel and replaced it with 'vinyl' interlocking pseudo-plank flooring, the kind that has overlapping self-adhesive edges. The key word is 'vinyl'. In the extreme cold when in storage the planks contracted in some places just enough to separate the seams. It's not tragic, but we probably should have spent a little more money on a better product or we could have gone to an outlet with a little more expertise in the field, but we are still pleased to be free of that carpet. Our next rv will be completely free of carpet, I hope, fresh off the assembly line.
